Power of Praise
Hampton Coliseum is pleased to welcome the inspirational gospel show Power of Praise. Celebrate the New Year with a night of praise featuring John P. Kee, Joe Ligon & The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Tamela Mann, James Fortune and FIYA on Sunday, December 30th at 5 pm. Gospel singer and pastor, John P. Kee began his music career with community choirs in the 1980s and was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2007. He is still creating praise songs in his 2011 solo album The Legacy Project. Gospel group Mighty Clouds of Joy recently celebrated 50 years of music with their 2010 album At the Revival that features songs of all styles including soul-rock, funk, and doo wop. Gospel fans will also enjoy songs from Tamela Mann and her latest album Best Days and the collaborative efforts of James Fortune and FIYA that includes the smash hit “I Trust You” which dominated Gospel radio as 1 for over 25 weeks.
