Where is Hampton Coliseum located?

Hampton Coliseum is located at 1000 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, VA 23666. See our Directions and Parking page for more information.

What are the hours of operation for Hampton Coliseum?

The Hampton Coliseum Administrative Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you have specific questions please contact us at 757-838-5650.

Event-Related

What time do doors open for each event?

For most events, doors open 1 hour prior to the event start time. Please refer to specific event page for exact door time.

Can I bring food or beverage into the arena?

No outside food or beverage is allowed inside Hampton Coliseum. Hampton Coliseum offers a full menu of concession items including alcoholic beverages. See our Food and Beverage page for more information.

Are cameras allowed for Hampton Coliseum events?

Non-professional cameras are permitted for most performances (palm-size or smaller, no detachable lenses). No audio or video recording is permitted for any performance unless otherwise specified. Please refer to event page for event-specific camera policy.

Where is the lost and found located at Hampton Coliseum?

Lost and Found is located in the Administrative Office which is inside the front lobby. For more information, please call 757-838-5650.

Can I smoke at Hampton Coliseum?

Smoking is prohibited at Hampton Coliseum. “Smoking” means (1) lighting or burning any type of tobacco, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, and pipes (2) lighting or burning of non-tobacco plants, incense, spice (or spice like product),  or marijuana; and (3) using electronic cigarettes.

Once I enter Hampton Coliseum, am I allowed to exit and re-enter using the same ticket?

Hampton Coliseum has a no re-entry policy for ticketed events. Any guest who leaves the facility during an event will be required to purchase another ticket to gain admission.

What items are prohibited from entering Hampton Coliseum?

These items include but are not limited to: illegal weapons, illegal drugs, laser pointers, selfie sticks, strollers, outside food & beverage, bottles and coolers.

How do I obtain a backstage pass for an upcoming event?

Backstage passes are not available for sale and are usually only provided by artist management or fan clubs to select recipients. Hampton Coliseum personnel cannot provide or sell backstage passes and are prohibited from providing any tour personnel information.

Can I become a vendor for an upcoming event?

Most promoters do not allow outside vendors to sell or promote their wares on Coliseum property. If a show is specifically interested in vending, solicitations will be made public on our website and/or social media.

I am a local performer. Can I be an opener for a show?

Most tours already have their talent booked prior to going on sale with their event, so performers are not needed at this time. If the Coliseum is interested in booking you as an artist, we will reach out to you as we do not accept unsolicited requests.

Miscellaneous

Are wheelchairs or wheelchair escorts available to guests attending an event at Hampton Coliseum?

Wheelchairs and wheelchair escorts are not available; guests requiring the use of a wheelchair must bring their own. See our Accessibility page for more information.

Does Hampton Coliseum have ATMs?

ATMs are conveniently located throughout the Coliseum. Please contact any staff member for a location near you.

Parking

Is there a charge for parking?

Parking is free for all Coliseum event guests. See our Directions and Parking page for more information.

Where is your handicap parking?

A limited number of designated handicap parking spaces including van-accessible spaces are available. These spaces are for vehicles displaying a current state issued disability placard or license plate. Spaces are filled on a ‘first-come’ basis. Drop-off may be done at the concrete balls in front of the Coliseum and in the I64 lot until the lot is full.

Ticketing

How can I buy tickets to Hampton Coliseum events?

Hampton Coliseum Box Office and Ticketmaster are the only authorized sellers of tickets to Hampton Coliseum events. Hampton Coliseum is not responsible for tickets purchased anywhere other than Ticketmaster or the Hampton Coliseum Box Office and will not honor, service, exchange or refund duplicate, counterfeit or invalid tickets. Does my child need a ticket?

Children 2 years of age and up must have a ticket for most events. Children under 2 without a ticket must sit on a parent’s lap (subject to change). Please refer to event page for event-specific policy.

Where is Will Call?

The Will Call window is located inside the main lobby immediately to the right. For tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, Will Call may be printed at any ticket window.

Do you have discounts for large groups?

There are various shows and events throughout the year that offer group discounts. The number that is considered a group varies on a show-by-show basis.
