56th Annual Hampton Jazz & Music Festival
The 56th Annual Hampton Jazz & Music Festival returns June 26–28, 2026, continuing a legacy that has defined culture, community, and music for more than five decades. Held annually at the iconic Hampton Coliseum, this nationally recognized festival has evolved into one of the most celebrated live music events in the country—where generations gather to experience the soundtrack of Black excellence, artistry, and soul.
Since its beginnings in 1968, the festival has welcomed some of the most influential artists in music history, spanning jazz, R&B, gospel, and beyond. What started as a celebration rooted in jazz has grown into a dynamic, multi-genre experience while never losing its deep connection to tradition, culture, and community.
This year’s lineup continues that legacy with three unforgettable nights of music:
Friday, June 26 – No Skips Friday
An R&B-heavy kickoff featuring Jagged Edge, Dru Hill, 702, Next, and Lil’ Mo, bringing timeless hits and nonstop energy to open the weekend.
Saturday, June 27 – Soul Food Saturday
A powerful blend of gospel and soul led by Kirk Franklin, alongside Jodeci, Tonio Armani, Pokey Bear, and Marcus Anderson, creating a night rooted in passion, rhythm, and spirit.
Sunday, June 28 – Sunday Dinner
A smooth and soulful close to the weekend with Charlie Wilson, The Isley Brothers, El DeBarge, and Marion Meadows with Alex Bugnon, delivering the classics that bring everyone together.
More than just a concert, the Hampton Jazz & Music Festival is a cultural experience where music meets legacy, and every performance becomes part of a larger story. From longtime attendees to first-time guests, the weekend is a celebration of sound, style, and shared moments that continue to shape its enduring impact.
Join us for a tradition that transcends generations and experience the moment for yourself!
