Fundraising Opportunities
Hampton Coliseum is now offering a fundraiser program for local School Foundations located in Hampton Roads. The program offers your school district with a very easy way to raise funds through distributing special coupons for several of our events throughout the year including Disney on Ice, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and World Championship ICE racing. All events in the program will be family related events. Each ticket sold with the coupon raises $1 for your foundation.
How It Works
There are several events throughout the year at Hampton Coliseum where we can offer you a special coupon to distribute to your facility, staff, parents and students. The manner in which you distribute the coupon is up to you, we can even provide an electronic coupon that can be included in emails. The coupons will include your foundation logo with the verbiage “A portion of the proceeds of tickets sales with this coupon are returned to the ______ Educational Foundation”. The coupon provides the recipient with a discount offer by use of a code. The code will be unique to your school district and will be tracked using an audit. After the event, Hampton Coliseum will provide $1 per ticket sold with your school foundation’s coupon code as well as the ticket sales audit. A check will be cut for your foundation within 30 days from the last day of the event.
What’s Expected?
It’s simple! The only obligation for your school foundation is to distribute the coupons. There is no cost to participate in this program.
Hampton Coliseum will secure the discount (offer varies by event) and produce the coupons. The coupons will be produced several months in advance of the event and provided to your foundation.
Hampton Coliseum will provide the coupons to your foundation for distribution. The manner of distribution is up to the individual foundation and school district. Similar programs in other localities distribute through the school district courier system to each school. The coupons can be distributed to each school, during school sporting events, open houses, etc.
